I can paint a little now. Here's an impressionist-style take on Claude Monet's garden in Giverny.
I have to say, though, that the camera & the lighting I used to capture this photograph of the painting really changed the way it turned out. In reality it looks almost completely different- it's more vibrant, at least (The colours look a little dead here, plus there's a glare & some graininess.).
and what a wonderful perception of monet! the use of color is just so beautiful! this deserves way more recognition than it is receiving, hun. great work! i would love to see more from ya one day!
Wow, thanks a lot Scarlett. I used to be a crappy painter, but I think I may have learned something from having taken a class.
Just for you, I'll dabble again in paints.

At times the world can seem an unfriendly & sinister place. But believe us when we say there is much more good in it than bad. & what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events, may in fact, be the first steps of a journey.
this is great, and the colors don't look dead at all, they seem to me very vibrant, but if you could photograph it again, maybe using something like a ... (i don't know the word in english, but that thin semi-transparent paper used to copy over, vegetal paper? :\) in front of the camera flash or the light source, you could reduce glare, and thus, obtain better colors and get rid of the local annoying glares. Anyway, great piece, i'll look through your next ones for sure...

"So I just, uh... I just cut them up like regular chickens?" "Sure, just cut them up like regular chickens."
That sounds like a pretty good idea; I'll try that. Thanks.
